Tomorrow is the first day of my new job
Tomorrow is the first day of my new job at MicroMenders. I’m mostly excited, slightly nervous, but more importantly have done this enough times to know that the first day is usually not the hardest.
I laid out my clothes, packed my bag for tomorrow, and planned out my morning breakfast and commute method (+ an alternate route). I also gathered and printed out all materials given to me during the interview and offer process. Then ironically I found some interesting articles online after searching “first day of work” on Google. I actually found http://careerplanning.about.com/cs/firstjob/a/new_job.htm and http://nmnm.essortment.com/firstdayatwor_olo.htm to be pretty good articles, and was pleased that I’d already done most of what was suggested in them.
Can’t wait to have an hour commute tomorrow. Woohoo!
